During 2011, TMASF Connects Work program began working with San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) to promote their summer internship programs to the businesses residing in our member buildings. The program task was to place students entering their senior year in nominal cost flat fee internships for a six week period. The students came from academies within the school district from one of four areas: IT, Hospitality & Tourism, Engineering and Finance.
Our scholarship program recognizes the diverse talents of people and the needs of businesses. Post-secondary education scholarships are available to students entering university, community college, vocational and other specialized training/education programs that qualify.
The TMASF Connects Scholarship is open to San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) or other CTE program students who meet an overall 2.75 GPA requirement, have been accepted to post-secondary training or education program, and ideally (but not required) have completed an internship in one of our member buildings.
